Motion design

Motion design with a job

Showreels, product videos, app animations and interface motion for startups. Every movement reveals, guides or emphasises something. Nothing moves just to move.

What we make

  • Showreels that show a studio or a product in under a minute and a half, cut for the website, LinkedIn, Instagram and Upwork.
  • Product explanation videos and walkthroughs that show how an app works, screen by screen.
  • App animations: splash screens, onboarding moments and loading states, delivered as video, Lottie or code.
  • Interface motion: page transitions, scroll reveals and micro-interactions, built in CSS or GSAP.

Motion as part of the system

Motion gets tokens, just like colour and type: a small set of durations and easing curves, named and reused everywhere. That is why a showreel, an app splash and a button hover from us feel like the same brand.

Our own rules: ease-out entrances, short distances, hard-edged wipes instead of crossfades, nothing bouncy. And every animation has a reduced-motion version, so people who turn motion off still get everything, just without the movement.

Example

The MONA AI splash

For MONA AI, an AI photo and video app, golden shards drift in from a navy void and lock into place, one by one, until they form the MONA logo.

We made the film with Kling AI, image-to-video from the real logo file, so the final frame is exactly the brand mark, with the movement directed in a written prompt. We also delivered the transformation as a React Native component, so the developers could drop it into the app instead of rebuilding it from a video.

More motion work

  • Our showreel. 84 seconds of studio work, with a silent 43-second loop at the top of our homepage.
  • The Echopod UX audit walkthrough, a full audit explained on video. Watch it on YouTube.
  • The Tales AI landing page, with GSAP scroll reveals and a night sky of drifting stars.
  • This website. Headlines that rise word by word, hand-drawn marks that draw on, a transit-map hiring line.

FAQs

How long is a showreel?

Usually 40 to 90 seconds, with shorter cuts for social and a silent loop for a website hero. Ours is 84 seconds, with a 43-second cut.

Do you use AI video tools?

Yes, where they help, like Kling AI for the MONA splash. We direct them from real brand files and written prompts, and a designer approves every frame that ships.

What formats do you deliver?

Video in every aspect ratio you need, Lottie for apps, and code (CSS, GSAP or React Native) for motion that lives inside a product.
